Outstanding research achievements at BTU

On June 19, 2024, Research Day, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) awarded the prize for the university's best dissertation. In addition, the second and third-placed doctoral theses were honored and a Young Researcher Prize and a Senior Researcher Prize were awarded for the first time.

Climate-neutral mobility on the car-free university day

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is once again taking part in the Germany-wide Car-Free University Day on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, from 11 am to 4 pm. All interested parties are invited to take part in a colorful hands-on program, meeting point: Cottbus main campus, Walther-Pauer-Straße 7, Interims-Mensa/FabLab area (garage complex).

Agroforestry in Lusatia: New paths for agriculture

How we can counter the effects of climate change in land use and agriculture is the subject of research in the AgroBaLa project. The project results will be presented to the public at a final event on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the Domin farm in Peickwitz near Senftenberg.
