Attention students! The DAAD offers exciting research internships for summer 2025. Apply now to secure funding and gain valuable international research experience

As part of the “support initiative for German schools abroad and partner schools (BIDS)”, high school students from abroad were able to learn about the wide range of courses offered by BTU.

Many thanks to all employees for participating in the overall evaluation of our internal training program. A total of 180 online questionnaires were completed, providing us with valuable suggestions and ideas for improvement.

An exciting summer semester of the public lecture series "Open BTU" will come to an end on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 5:30 pm. The speakers are Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Jörg Acker and Anja Rietig from the Physical Chemistry chair at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

In the public lecture series "Open BTU" on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, 5:30 pm, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Lothar Knopp, Manager of the Center for Legal and Administrative Sciences at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and Markus Möller, President of the Brandenburg State Constitutional Court.

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and the Prince-Pückler-Museum Park and Palace Branitz Foundation (SFPMG) invite to the Cottbus Zoo on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. as part of the public lecture series "Open BTU". This event with experts from both institutions is part of the 32nd Cottbus Environment Week.

As part of the "Open BTU" lecture series, Prof. Dr. Marcel Fratzscher, President of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and Professor of Macroeconomics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, will give a lecture on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 17:30 at the Cottbus main campus of Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Exceptional technology-supported learning formats and resources such as virtual learning environments can advance the various phases of the teaching and learning process in continuing vocational education and training. In particular, digital media and technologies can be used to adapt to the individual skills, interests and learning needs of participants.

With lectures by theologian and Probst Thomas Besch and historian Prof. Dr. Arnd Bauerkämper, the public lecture series "Open BTU" will kick off an exciting summer semester full of controversial topics on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at 5:30 pm.

Two projects at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) have qualified for funding until the end of 2028: The Fit@BTU project with around €1.18 million and the IQ@BB project with €700 thousand.
