Participation in the Organizations Studies & Organization Theory PDW

From October 1-3, 2025, Dr. Sophia Bittner-Zähr participated in the Paper Development Workshop of the journals Organization Studies and Organization Theory in Winterthur (Switzerland).

At this workshop, papers that had been submitted in advance and selected were presented in roundtables and discussed by the other early scholar participants and experienced researchers in the field. Dr. Sophia Bittner-Zähr presented the joint paper with Marie Tallarek (Department of Public Health) entitled “Organizational practices and emotion work: a conceptual framework using the example of the emotionally demanding field of clinical maternity care.” Rounded off by presentations and a Q&A on publishing in the two journals, it was an all-around successful event.
