Postponed due to illness: 2nd Visionaries* Salon - Networking evening for women scientists* and all women* who want to actively (co-)shape the future
The Visionary Women* Salon serves the networking of women* in science and beyond. As part of the "Mentoring@BTU" program, the Salon evening offers all interested and involved women* a platform to get to know each other, network, find cooperation or tandem partners, forge alliances, present current projects or new formats, and share their visions. Their stories, biographies, projects and visions will be told in order to make women more visible, create positive role models and encourage each other.
The second salon evening is dedicated to the topic of "Leading and being led." An impulse lecture by Dr. Krisztina Berger will focus on working relationships in a scientific context: Who do I like to be led by? Who do I like to lead and how? Where do I feel harmony and the possibility of good cooperation? In a subsequent roundtable discussion, questions raised will be discussed together and those interested will have the opportunity to form mentor-mentee pairs during a practical exercise.
The Visionary Women* Salon takes place quarterly with a changing focus and at the various locations of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg. The next date is April 25, 2024. The format is open-ended - if you would like to present your project or plan at a salon evening, simply send an email to gleichstellung(at)b-tu.de.
