Students of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) are allowed to present their start-up ideas in Italy: The winning team "Modeck" will compete in the finals of the EUNICE Imagine Innovation Cup on July 18 in Catania. Likewise successful students of the EUNICE Contamination Lab will further develop their ideas in a Summer School from July 10-14.
The European Partnership in EIT Culture & Creativity brings together stakeholders in around 20 countries in Europe. The aim is to fund the special structures of the cultural and creative industries in various regions, including Lusatia. To this end, the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) provides up to 70 million euros per year.

Dr.-Ing. Sparsh Sharma came to the Chair of Computational Fluid Dynamics and Gas Dynamics of Prof. Heiko Schmidt via the DFG Walter Benjamin Programme. From November 2022 to April 2023, he was in Cambridge for a six-month research stay. Since May 2023, Sparsh Sharma has been working at the DLR Institute in Braunschweig.
