Successful start for first semester students at BTU

Around 300 new students were welcomed to BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg by President Prof. Gesine Grande at a central kick-off event on April 9, 2024.

Even if enrolment has not yet been completed, presentations on study organization, the eLearning system and stays abroad provided important information on starting your studies. Most Master's study programmes start regularly in the summer semester. Particularly attractive study programmes are:

  • Artificial Intelligence M.Sc.
  • Physics M.Sc.
  • Architecture M.Sc.

OTIWO anyway: From students for students - the InfoWocheorganizationteamonce again put together a varied programme for the start of the summer semester, which was well received by the first-year students. A canoe trip in the Spreewald, a guided tour of Cottbus, the BTU University Cinema, billiards or bowling - as well as having fun, the focus was always on information, getting to know each other and asking questions. For four days, they had the opportunity to get to know their new university and place of study.
