1. Study contents
The course content should be oriented towards the regular social work degree program in terms of structure and design, and - in addition to the language component - address specific questions and problem areas that are significant in the context of international social work. These include questions of social work in other countries and cultures, and their framework conditions or intercultural topics that directly affect social work in Germany, such as migration or cross-border cooperation.

The focus is on separate learning areas at the Academy Gorzów/Poland as well as the internship semester abroad (preferably Poland).
2. Course of studies
The standard period of study is 6 semesters. The 3rd semester (internship) and the 4th semester (theory) are carried out abroad and taught by the Department of Social Work. The professional supervision during the semester abroad is additionally ensured by the foreign partner university.
3. Degree
The Integrated Binational Study Program is offered with the regular degree Bachelor of Arts Social Work as well as the degree of the partner university Licentiat (double degree).
4. Possible fields of activity
Fields of work are international or intercultural projects in all sectors of social pedagogy, e.g. child and youth crime, socio-culture, educational work, leisure and encounter projects.
