Supplementary Modules

Supplementary Modules

In individual cases, elective modules worth up to 30 LP may be replaced by supplementary modules within the meaning of § 26 of the Framework Study Regulations. This does not apply to modules from PhD programmes and language courses offered by the Central Language Department. Supplementary modules must be approved by the examination board before they can be taken.

FÜS Module Catalogue

FÜS Module Catalogue

In the winter semester 2025/2026, the modules listed in the module catalogue are permitted for interdisciplinary studies in BTU degree programmes. Other modules may not be taken in interdisciplinary studies.

Please note the negative lists of the study programmes in the module catalogue, which have been determined by the programme directors! Not all modules are permitted in every degree programme.

FÜS module catalogue for the winter semester 2025/2026

The interdisciplinary studies (FÜS) serve to impart interdisciplinary knowledge that goes beyond the subject-specific curricula. The FÜS does not replace the necessary and integrated transfer of skills from the perspective of the individual degree programme, but rather supplements it with subject-independent aspects.

Guideline for interdisciplinary studies

In modularised degree programmes, examination registration for modules in interdisciplinary studies must be completed online .
