Quality of life in old age - think tank for good ageing in rural areas

In future, those affected will work together with BTU scientists at the practical research centre in Cottbus to find out how mobility, social integration into society and the health of older people can be improved. The launch ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 9 September 2025 at 3.30 pm in the "Startblock B2" start-up centre.

The BTU Children's University on an excursion to Confiserie Felicitas

The children's university at Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) is also offering exciting activities during the summer holidays. On Tuesday, 26 August 2025, between 9:45 and 11:30 a.m., the theme is "From the bean to the bar - a visit to the SchokoLadenLand of Lusatia".

Award-winning for outstanding commitment in the STEM field

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) recognises special achievements by women in the STEM subjects - Mathematics, Computer Science, Natural Sciences and Technology. The ‘Best STEM Student’ 2024 award was presented in the Bachelor's and Master's categories as well as a special STEM prize.
