As the Dual Career Service, we want to make it easier for newly appointed people at BTU to settle into their new environment and give them the opportunity to network with other professors. For this reason, we have launched the "Welcome Mentors" project.
From professors for professors
As part of this "Welcome Mentors" project, experienced BTU professors accompany the newly appointed professors during their first year at BTU and are available to them as contact persons. The welcome mentors help the newly appointed professors to find their way in their new environment and give them valuable tips and advice. We, the Dual Career Service, organise the pairing of the mentors and the first meeting. Both people then decide together how and to what extent further dialogue should take place.
