The workshop will be held in English. International applicants must submit a proof of English language proficiency (IELTS with minimum 6.00 or equivalent). Students from an English-speaking country and those enrolled in a study programme that is taught in the English language, are usually exempted. However, a Skype interview might be required instead.

Participation at the (re)CYCLE LIMBURG 3

Three Urban Design Master students among six BTU participants together with their tutor have taken part at the International design workshop of “(re)CYCLE LIMBURG 3” which took place from November 5th till November 9th 2018 in Kerkrade West in the province of Limburg (southern part of The Netherlands). This workshop was organized by the Smart Urban Redesign research center (SURD) and in an international joint collaboration between Zuyd University, KU Leuven, NHTV, the municipality of Kerkrade and the local community of Kerkrade West. The workshop's primary aim was to investigate the role and meaning of the so called “public” spaces, testing if and how these spaces can be a catalyst for future cycles that promote healthy lifestyle and well-being in the context of Kerkrade West.
