The current event in the public lecture series "Open BTU" on Wednesday 30 October 2024 is dedicated to "Discovering and preserving (socialist) art in architecture". All interested parties are invited to Audimax 1 at the Cottbus main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) at 5.30 pm.

The public lecture series "Forensic Sciences: On the trail of the crime" starts on Friday, 18 October 2024, at 5:30 pm at the main campus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) with Dr Hartmut Fischer from the Brandenburg State Institute of Forensic Medicine.

The public lecture series "Open BTU" starts the winter semester with two expert lectures as part of the travelling exhibition "70 Years of Art in Architecture in Germany". All interested parties are invited to attend on Wednesday, 16 October 2024, at 5:30 pm in Audimax 1 at the main campus Cottbus of the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

As part of the “support initiative for German schools abroad and partner schools (BIDS)”, high school students from abroad were able to learn about the wide range of courses offered by BTU.

Many thanks to all employees for participating in the overall evaluation of our internal training program. A total of 180 online questionnaires were completed, providing us with valuable suggestions and ideas for improvement.

An exciting summer semester of the public lecture series "Open BTU" will come to an end on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 5:30 pm. The speakers are Prof. Dr. rer. nat. habil. Jörg Acker and Anja Rietig from the Physical Chemistry chair at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).

Lothar Knopp, Manager of the Center for Legal and Administrative Sciences at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and Markus Möller, President of the Brandenburg State Constitutional Court.

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) and the Prince-Pückler-Museum Park and Palace Branitz Foundation (SFPMG) invite to the Cottbus Zoo on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. as part of the public lecture series "Open BTU". As part of the "Open BTU" lecture series, Prof. Dr. Marcel Fratzscher, President of the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) and Professor of Macroeconomics at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, will give a lecture on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 17:30 at the Cottbus main campus of Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU).
