The Master Thesis of Mr. Helmut Kautge on "Entwicklung von breitbandigen GaN Leistungsverstärkern im Frequenzbereich von 6 bis 18 GHz" (broad-band GaN PA for 6-18 GHz) was honored as the best Master Thesis of the Faculty in 2013.
Ms. Anisha Apte won the first prize of the Student Design Competition: Low Phase Noise X-band Oscillators at the IEEE Intl. Microwave Symposium 2014.
Ms. Anisha Apte won the 3rd place award of the Student Paper Competition at the IEEE Benjamin Franklin Symposium on Microwave and Antenna Subsystems 2014 with her paper "A novel low-noise X-band Oscillator".
The dissertation of Mr. Andrej Rumiantsev on "On-Wafer Calibration Techniques Enabling Accurate Characterization of High-Performance Silicon Devices at the mm-Wave Range and Beyond" was honored as the best PhD Dissertation of the BTU in 2014.
