Semester Abroad
One semester abroad is a mandatory part of the bachelor program (preferably done in the fifth semester) and a highly recommended part of the master program (preferably done in the third semester). The ERM program is offered in cooperation between the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and partner universities, out of which one can be chosen for the semester abroad. The partner universities offer compatible classes, which can easily be recognized.
Each year in December/January there are informational lectures for those who want to go abroad in the following winter semester by the International Office (in German) and by the ERM Administration in cooperation with the International Office (in English).

The ERASMUS program supports studies and internships in all 27 EU member states plus Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Turkey. With the STUDEXA program, you can study at universities in North and Latin America as well as in Asia, Africa, and Australia.
