Development of Planning Instruments Regarding Controlled Soil Uses

Short Description: As part of this project, a concept for a practical and financially sound evaluation method for soils which shall found application in different planning processes, is created. The focus is the precautionary soil protection with the aim of a site-specific land use. Available data, e.g. topographic, geological and pedological maps or terrain and vegetation maps, shall be used predominantly in the process. In multiple technical discussions the instrument is presented to a broad range of users to improve its feasibility and practicality so that the outcome is the availability of a practical assessment procedures which serves especially for the precautionary soil protection.
