General information
The Chair of Empirical Economic Research and Transformation supervises both Bachelor's and Master's theses. The topics range from purely empirical work, either with a focus on data collection, data analysis or replications, to methodological work, in which either previous research work or individual methodological problems are systematically reviewed and analyzed.
The following areas of application are the focus of the chair:
- Individual thinking and decision making in organizational contexts, game and decision theory issues from both a psycholgical and experimental economics perspective
- Start-ups, both from the perspective of the founder and from the perspective of start-up policy and start-up consultancy
- Innovation processes
- Internationalization, in particular international innovation management, as well as thinking and decision-making in foreign language environments
- Prosocial behavior in various economically relevant contexts
- Automation and artificial intelligence
- Business psychology and behavioral economics
- Methodological research on the dissemination or properties of various psychometric, statistical and econometric methods
