Inauguration of the new Graduate School »Trustworthy Hydrogen«

The joint Graduate School was launched by BTU and the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) in January during the introduction week. The GRS provides funding for three of overall seven new doctoral positions.

The Graduate School »Trustworthy Hydrogen« kicked-off in January with an introduction week. In a three-year program, it aims to enable the doctoral candidates to actively shape the development of a hydrogen economy in Germany and Europe as scientists in industry, research or the public sector. Funding is provided via a cooperation agreement between the BTU and the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM).

The BTU-BAM Graduate School »Trustworthy Hydrogen« provides the doctoral candidates with comprehensive knowledge of the entire value chain and the framework conditions and safety standards required for the market implementation of hydrogen. In addition, the young researchers will benefit from soft skills training in fields such as science communication and policy advice.
