Dr.-Ing. Layla Zibar

Dr.-Ing. Layla Zibar successfully received her doctoral degree from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. In February 2023, she successfully completed her doctorate at the Department of Urban Planning and Design. In this interview, she and Prof. Heinz Nagler share their experiences.

Dr. rer. pol. Maho Nakagawa

Dr. rer. pol. Maho Nakagawa successfully completed her doctorate in January 2023 on the topic of "Permanence in Economics, Social Preferences and Social Interactions - Application to Environmental Issues" at the Department of Economics, in particular Environmental Economics, under the supervision of Prof. Frank Wätzold. She was also awarded the "Docteur de lÚniversité de Strasbourg" by the University of Strasbourg, France.

Dr.-Ing. Gabriel Maltese Meletti de Oliveira

In March 2021, Dr.-Ing. Gabriel Maltese Meletti de Oliveira successfully completed the first Cotutelle doctorate at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the University of Aix-Marseille, France. He was supervised by Prof. Uwe Harlander, Department of Aerodynamics and Fluid Mechanics.

Dr. rer. nat. Arwa Laroussi

The collaboration between BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg and the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia, led to the successful completion of Dr. rer. nat. Arwa Laroussi's doctorate in August 2022. She conducted her research at the Chair of Nanobiotechnology under the supervision of Prof. Vladimir Mirsky.

Dr.-Ing. Stefan Biereigel

Together with the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, Dr.-Ing. Stefan Biereigel conducted research on the topic of "Radiation-Tolerant All Digital Clock Generators for High Energy Physics". He successfully completed his doctorate in 2022. At BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, he was supervised by Prof. Alexander Kölpin, Chair of General Electrical Engineering and Measurement Technology.
