The Graduate Research School (GRS) of the BTU offers workshops, seminars and information events to promote your scientific independence at an early stage and to support you during your doctoral phase. The GRS qualification programme is divided into four areas: Networking, scientific methods as well as subject-specific and interdisciplinary qualification. An overview of the current qualification courses can be found on the GRS website. You can also subscribe to the GRS newsletter, which regularly informs you about current events.
In addition, the BTU's Centre for Continuing Education (ZWW) will support you in developing and expanding your interdisciplinary skills, especially in the areas of project management, soft skills and personal development. You can discover the continuing education programme at the website of the ZWW.
External to the BTU, the university-wide "Netzwerk Studienqualität Brandenburg" (sqb) offers further training in higher education didactics and advice on the quality development of teaching. In a modular and part-time continuing education programme, you can obtain the certificate "Hochschullehre Brandenburg" (Brandenburg University Teaching), which is a nationally recognised pedagogical qualification certificate of higher education didactic competences.
Another non-university institution, the International DAAD Academy (iDA), offers further training for university staff that focuses on providing internationalisation knowledge and skills.
