In contrast to the individual doctorate, you can do your doctorate at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg in an internationally oriented English-language doctoral study programme (PhD programme).

Upon acceptance as a PhD student, you will already be integrated into a research network that provides optimal conditions for professional exchange. The professional and interdisciplinary qualification in the doctoral study programmes is secured by a doctoral curriculum with modularized courses amounting to 30 ECTS.

Admission to the study programmes is applied for by submitting an application to the respective program director via the PhD program coordinator. The doctoral phase begins with the semester of admission.
