Interview with BTU Alumnus Enrico Kramer (Social Work)

Back to studying at BTU in the Transferscout studies leading to certification.

Enrico Kramer studied Social Work at BTU and we have already interviewed him about his career and, above all, his successful founding of ENTWICKLUNGSAGENTEN. Enrico not only works in the field of lifelong development and lifelong learning, he also lives it himself. In addition to the many further training courses he has already completed in his life, he is now back at BTU as a student in the studies leading to certification as a transfer scout.

Hello Enrico, how did you come to be interested in the studies leading to certification as a transfer scout?
I started working in the field of corporate development through personal development with various employees in 2011. I kept coming across the same tasks, patterns and processes. First, people need to be trained in a structured and accelerated way. Then suitable deputies need to be established. Overall, the key people and knowledge carriers need to be identified and knowledge needs to be secured and made usable. Teamwork should also be optimized in order to increase the impact. Ten years ago, I asked myself how efficient and structured knowledge transfer could work. I have been working intensively on this topic ever since.

How did you continue your education in this area?
Back then, I was already asking myself a lot of questions about knowledge transfer and was looking for well-founded and scientific answers. So I researched who could do this and who could be an EXCELLENCE partner in this area. My research led me to a trip to Switzerland to visit Benno Ackermann, who is the author of the book "Successful Knowledge Transfer in Agile Organizations". He already had experience from more than 800 accompanied knowledge transfers for key personnel and had continuously developed his methodology with targeted adaptations for a wide range of industries and working environments. I learned a lot from him for this area. Unfortunately, there were only a few sparring partners in Lusatia at the time, so I developed my own systems, which are now part of the knowledge transfer of ENTWICKLUNGSAGENTEN.

How is it that you are now back at BTU?
With the ENTWICKLUNGSAGENTEN, we not only advise and develop solutions for our customers, but we are also constantly developing ourselves. This is an ongoing process. Lifelong learning is not only necessary for my job, I also enjoy it and it keeps me fit. That's why I'm glad that there is now an extra-occupational postgraduate program in the region on the subject of knowledge transfer, namely the challenging studies leading to certification as a transfer scout at BTU. So many years after graduating in Social Work, I'm sitting here again and learning something. I'm really looking forward to the exchange and input during my studies.
