Brandenburg Energy Day

The success of the energy turnaround through an interplay of energy saving and efficiency with renewable energies is the central theme of the 23rd Brandenburg Energy Day. With the airplane into weightlessness

Matthias Strangfeld from Cottbus has never seen the inside of an airplane. On May 23, 2023, that will change: The research assistant from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg will take off for the first time in a research aircraft at Bordeux-Mérignac Airport in southwestern France.

Easier access to ERASMUS+ study visits at partner universities of the BTU

The National Agency for Erasmus+ University Cooperation in the German Academic Exchange Service (NA DAAD) has published its inclusion strategy on German Diversity Day 2023, which takes better account of the concerns of students and doctoral candidates during an ERASMUS+ study period abroad.

Visit of the Federal President with focus on structural change

The future of storage and transport infrastructure for green hydrogen

In the joint project Mukran, six partner institutions from industry and science, including the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), are developing new, mobile hydrogen sphere storage systems. The project is part of the TransHyDE hydrogen lead project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research BMBF.

Master concert with multiple award-winning guitarist

The Federal President visits the BTU

German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier has moved his official residence to Lusatia for three days. From May 9 to 11, he will conduct his official business from Senftenberg in Brandenburg. In this context, he will be a guest on the Senftenberg campus of the Brandenburg Technical University Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) on Thursday, May 11.

The CHE ranking proves: High satisfaction with the general study situation at the BTU

This year, the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) once again receives top marks in the renowned CHE university ranking. In the current evaluation in law, economics and social sciences, it is represented with its study programs in business administration and engineering, business administration and social work.
