From Web of Science to Scopus

With immediate effect, the University Library is providing access to both the Web of Science citation database and the Scopus citation database for the next three months. From January 2027, Scopus will completely replace the current Web of Science service (until the end of 2029). In addition, the SciVal analysis tool will also be available.

Access is straightforward from the BTU network. Registration is only required for SciVal.

Training sessions on Scopus will be offered over the coming weeks to help you get started. Further details will follow shortly. A comprehensive range of online training courses and tutorials on searching and advanced uses of Scopus can be found on the website.

Commercial use of licensed electronic media and databases is expressly prohibited; they are available exclusively for personal academic use. Access is subject to the Terms of Use for licensed electronic media at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
