Digital repository
To register your publications (e.g. articles in academic journals) in the University Bibliography please fill in the form of UBICO.
OPUS is a service that allows staff members and students of Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg to publish scholarly documents (journal articles, doctoral theses, conference proceedings etc.) free of charge on the Internet. The documents will be freely available, archived permanently on the OPUS server and easy to find by search engines.
The Digital Repository OPUS offers a button (top left) to switch to the English surface if necessary.

DOI service
You will receive a free DOI (Digital Object Identifier) for your online publication. DOIs enable permanent availability and referencing of electronic publications. Your DOI will be generated before the final publication of your document and should be included in your file.
Use the registration form to transfer all needed metadata to our Digital Repository (OPUS). We will then generate the DOI for your publication and and inform you per e-mail. Please include the DOI in the imprint of your document. For doctoral theses, the designated place is the lower left corner on the back of the title page.
A subsequent DOI generation for already published documents is not possible. One requirement for the assignment of a DOI is that no DOI has yet been awarded for the publication. The DOI-Service of the University Library of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg is operated in cooperation with the TIB Hannover / DataCite.
