Technology of Biogenic Raw Materials
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)

Enrollment is not possible for this course currently.

Description

The finite nature of fossil fuels and raw materials, as well as the negative impact of their use on the climate and the environment, requires a medium to long term search for alternatives to ensure further sustainable development of the economic, ecological and social needs of humanity. One of the most promising possibilities is the processing and use of renewable resources from agriculture and forestry as a raw material for products (material use) or as solid, liquid or gaseous fuels (energy use). Of similar significance are biogenic residues and waste materials.
