Jana Schäfer, postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, examines the social scaffolding that constructs categories of victims and perpetrators and classifies them into hierarchies of compassion and attention.

At 10:30 am, Lord Mayor Tobias Schick will raise the symbolic orange flag. Experts and interested members of the public will be able to find out about services and perspectives until 3 pm.

As part of her project with the working title "Dying people as teachers in hospices", Anja Herzog was able to present some of her research findings at the Vienna Nursing Congress thanks to funding from the Equal Opportunities Office at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.
