The scientific results achieved in the department of "Semiconductor Materials" are presented naturally at national and international conferences and workshops and published in peer-reviewed journals. Consideration will be given to which scientific and technical results can be exploited in patents. The scientific findings will make a lasting contribution to the further development of unique selling points of BTU in several areas of research and teaching. By actively involving students, the networking initiated with this department can also be transferred to the generation of specialists still in training. Furthermore, bachelor and master students are to be integrated into the research activities of the chair.
