Enrollment Requirements

The following requirements must be met for successful enrollment in the Degree Programme:

  • Submission of a letter of admission to the Degree Programme
  • Application for online enrollment
  • Payment of the semester fees
  • Proof of valid health insurance
  • Upload of the enrollment documents

Successful Enrollment

After receipt of payment of the semester fees and submission of all relevant documents, enrollment at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg takes place.

  • Applicants from Germany will receive their chip card (student ID card) unsolicited by post up to one week before the start of lectures. Upon late payment, applicants will receive an e-mail with a date when the chip card can be collected from the Registrar's Office.
  • All European and international applicants will also receive an e-mail with a date when the chip card can be collected from the Registrar's Office.
