Jana Fingarova
Having already completed her studies in Applied Psychology, English and Primary Education in Bulgaria, Jana Fingarova did her second Master’s degree in Migration Studies at the University of Education in Karlsruhe in 2012. At our chair, she completed her PhD thesis in Social Sciences at the TRANSWEL project, where she explored problems around intra-European mobility of Bulgarians in Germany, in particular their experiences of formal and informal social protection related to health, unemployment, retirement, and family related benefits.
