BTU Master's student Nnodim Eliot Wogu (ERM) has developed "Trashcoin", an online platform that has already created more than 100 jobs in his home country of Nigeria. At the same time, it helps to solve one of the biggest problems of our time: Plastic waste.

Jana Schäfer, postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, examines the social scaffolding that constructs categories of victims and perpetrators and classifies them into hierarchies of compassion and attention.

These outstanding young people, who have been honoured with a DAAD scholarship thanks to their academic commitment and achievements, are studying and researching in a wide range of fields at BTU.
