BTU welcomes exchange students for the winter semester

Active against right-wing extremism and discrimination

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) was the first university in Germany to develop an "action plan against (extreme) right-wing influence" and set up a monitoring centre in this context. This will now be launched at the start of the winter semester.

Waste Management rethought - Waste2Wealth relies on innovative technologies for the recovery of recyclable materials in Georgia

The Waste2Wealth project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) as part of the Export Initiative Environment (EXI), starts with the vision of utilising agricultural waste streams more efficiently, recovering valuable resources and demonstrating German environmental technologies for the circular economy in Georgia.

Ceremonial enrolment of the new students in the heart of Cottbus

The Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU) welcomed its new students once again this year with a festive event in the Cottbus Stadthalle. The 2024 motto is: "Arriving". This year's prize from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) was also awarded.
