Supporting International Talents @ BTUProject overview
The project is implemented through a cooperation between the International Relation Office (IRO), the Career Center and the Language Center (Sprachenzentrum). It is aimed at expanding and further developing the support structures for international students at BTU.
Sub-project II: Employability
As part of the sub-project II Employability, students have the opportunity to take part in the following events:
- (subject-specific) language courses at the Language Center
- Information event ‘Study and Stay in Germany’ (before the start of studies)
- Information event ‘Career paths in Germany’ (at the start of studies or during studies)
- Workshop on the application documents ‘German Job Applications 101: Documents’. Leveraging AI for Your Career Start
- Workshop on the job interview ‘German Job Applications 102: Interviews’. Leveraging AI for Your Career Start
Sub-project III: Labour market integration
Sub-project III Labour market integration enables students and companies to get in touch with each other and is intended to provide a space for exchanging obstacles and needs. The Career Center provides the following services:
- the ‘Career Connect’ database. As a company, you can enter your profile with job requirements here.
- the matching tool ‘Talenteletter’. Students also have the opportunity to create a profile. If it matches the profile of one of the companies in the ‘Career Connect’ database, we will connect you!
- Network meetings for exchange between business, university and students.
