From July 8th to 11th, the traveling exhibition "Bakteriopolis" took place at BTU. We would like to thank Swanadee Nulkar, who provided valuable support in supervising the exhibition. She explained the exhibits and inspired visitors with her enthusiasm for microscopy and the bacterial microcosm.

Every year, the Institute of Environmental Sciences and Environmental Technology (IUWT) organises a symposium to introduce new professors. To introduce Prof. Michael Beckmann, this year's symposium was organised by the Chair of Soil-Plant Systems and the Chair of Circular Economy. Special thanks also go to Prof. Simone Schopf, visiting professor at BTU, who also helped to coordinate the event. A big thank you also goes to the staff of both chairs who helped with the implementation.

The chair congratulates Archana Paimpillil Abraham on winning the special prize for STEM students at BTU. In addition to her studies at BTU, Ms Abraham is already working at the Chair of Circular Economy, where she is currently preparing her doctoral thesis. She was honoured for her outstanding skills in the STEM field and her exceptional volunteer work.

As part of the EU Micro4Biogas programme, the Chair of Circular Economy coordinated the development of a comprehensive roadmap on biogas. The resulting book is entitled "The anaerobic microverse: an in-depth roadmap on AD plant operations, microbiome innovation, and economic impact".
