Since May 2021, Prof. Peter Schierack has been the central environmental officer at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg.

Together with the Environmental Management Coordinator Viktoria Witte and the WG Environment and Sustainable Development, the scientist has set himself the particular goal of promoting education for sustainable development and biodiversity.
