Abnet Mengesha Bekele

Abnet is currently completing a Master's degree programme in socio-economic and institutional transformation at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus-Senftenberg (BTU), where she also works academically and professionally. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Law and a Master's degree in Business Administration. Her academic and professional career has focussed on inclusive economic change.

Abnet has contributed to initiatives related to the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), further deepening her interest in regional integration and sustainable development. She brings practical experience in legal frameworks, project management and compliance, in particular in international organisations. She has worked with institutions operating under both African Union (AU) and European Union (EU) legal frameworks.
