This chair is highly involved in the basic education of the students of computer science and IMT. Many lectures, exercises, internships, and seminars are offered to teach importend fundamentals of digital circuits and computer systems. A further important task is the teaching in the area of and architecture of processors and processore-based electronic systems.

In master level education the main topics are the test of digital circuits and the design and production of complex systems.
