Centre for Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship
Digital transformation is a global megatrend with revolutionary effects on international, national and regional markets. Start-ups are taking advantage of the opportunities offered by digitalisation and experimenting with new business models, established companies are being forced to adapt their business models, companies that do not have the necessary agility are disappearing from the market and innovation cycles are becoming shorter. In short, entrepreneurial skills, entrepreneurial spirit, creativity and the ability to innovate are being redefined by the megatrend of digitalisation and must be constantly developed so that companies can be successful on the market in the long term in the age of digitalisation.
At the same time, in a globalised world in which national borders hardly represent an economic boundary any more, the regional innovation system is increasingly seen as an engine for employment and the development of positive income. The promotion of regional innovation capacity and the strengthening of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem are therefore increasingly becoming the focus of political decision-makers.
This is where the Centre for Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship at the ICN Business School, France, comes in. It offers entrepreneurs and companies the opportunity to work together with the participating scientists from the ICN Business School and BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg to develop solutions and strategies for real entrepreneurial problems in order to be able to respond to digital change in the best possible way.
The Centre for Digital Transformation and Entrepreneurship operates at the interface of digital transformation and entrepreneurship and uses creativity and innovation techniques to support sustainable entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship.
