With the use of the editorial system it is possible to manage own news and events comfortably and to make them available to other areas effectively.
Advantages
- News can be planned in advance: You choose the time when news goes online and also when it goes offline again.
- Distribution of news via a category/target group system: Once you have created your news, categories can be used to distribute the news to further output locations, e.g. for students, prospective students or on the research page.
- Your news will be more visible on the website as well as on the web.
- Automatic contact data generation

You can get access to the editorial system via the MMZ. There you will also find tutorials, training dates and further technical support.
Sense and purpose of the categories
You can also use approvals to request that your message be published on subpages of the BTU website.
This works best if you really only choose audiences and categories that match your message. Clicking as much as possible to increase reach degrades the experience of website visitors*, as they have to scroll through a lot of information that is not relevant to them.
