Learning Outcome:The students are familiar with the basic numerical methods and are able to assign them according to the specified engineering questions. Furthermore, they are able to formulate and implement appropriate algorithms.

  • Ordinary differential equations and initial value problems
  • Boundary value problems an partial differential equations
  • Monte Carlo methods
