| Learning Outcome: | At the end of the course students should be able to: - Understand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. - Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. - Produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options. | 
| Contents: | Action-oriented tasks for global, selective and detailed listening and reading comprehension, for the production of topic- and situation-related written texts, for topic- and situation-related oral expression as well as exercises for understanding and consolidating linguistic structures (vocabulary and grammar). Furthermore, learning strategies and techniques for self-study are imparted and trained. Thematical and grammatical focus:
