14462 - Lightweight and Active Structures Modulübersicht

Module Number: 14462
Module Title:Lightweight and Active Structures
  Leichte und Aktive Tragwerke
Department: Faculty 6 - Architecture, Civil Engineering and Urban Planning
Responsible Staff Member:
  • Prof. Dr.-Ing. Bleicher, Achim
Language of Teaching / Examination:English
Duration:1 semester
Frequency of Offer: Every summer semester
Credits: 6
Learning Outcome:Knowledge / Skills: Bringing together theories, methods and tools from different fields for the optimal design of lightweight and active structures. Competencies: After successful participation in the module, students are able to design, model, optimate and simulate simple lightweight and active structures. The contents of the module are applied by working with the simulation software Sofistik and Matlab/Simulink.
Contents:
  • Lightweight design principles
  • Concepts and Mechanisms for moveable and active structures
  • Optimization of lightweight structures
  • Systems for vibration control
  • Modeling and simulation of simple active structures as a basis for the design of adaptronic systems
  • Design of adaptronic systems (sensors, actuators, control)
