Learning Outcome: | After completion of this module, students are able to identify and differentiate central areas, approaches, concepts and methods within the interdisciplinary field of World Heritage Studies. They have critical reading skills, know a number of key concepts to Heritage Studies and how to link conceptual ideas to current phenomena in the field of World Heritage. In addition, the students are able to apply knowledge about standards in scientific techniques and presentation skills. |
Contents: | The first part of the module gives an overview over the key areas and disciplines of the World Heritage Studies Program. The second part provides basic knowledge about key interdisciplinary approaches, concepts and skills within the field of World Heritage Studies. |
