You have a variety of possibilities to obtain information at BTU on the topics of Open Access and research data.

The Digital Repository (OPUS) is maintained by the Thesis department in the University Library and can be used free of charge by all members of the BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg for the publication of scientific documents.

A large number of Open Access documents and related research data are stored in repositories.

There are two primary strategies for the implementation of Open Access: the 'golden road' and the 'green road'. Both paths - first publication and second publication - complement each other.

The international Open Access Week 2020 begins today. The aim is to take up the topic of Open Access locally at many different locations worldwide during this week in order to promote free access to knowledge and information from publicly funded research and to provide information locally.
