New ebooks, electronic journals and databases in the BTU campus network

Nature Journals, Springer ebooks, Inspec, CareLit, Artists of the World and databases for civil engineers

From 2023 we offer you the following e-media:

Nature Journals

All journals in the Nature portfolio can be read online, as BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg has joined a nationwide transformation agreement

In addition, corresponding authors of our university have the opportunity to publish Open Access in the Nature-branded hybrid journals free of charge (contact and further information see publication fees).

Springer ebooks

Our 8 German and 11 English e-book packages by the publisher Springer Nature have now been extended to the year 2023.

Inspec (database)

The database Inspec is now available for searching international specialist literature in the fields of physics, electrical engineering, electronics, computer and information technology, control engineering, mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology, materials science, nuclear engineering, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering.

CareLit (database)

Within CareLit - a database for management and care - the full texts of about 90 journals can be read since this year.

Artists of the World (database)

The Artists of the World database is the successor to the Allgemeines Künstlerlexikon. Access is available to all users of the University Library.

Databases for civil engineers

We have licensed the databases "Bautabellen digital" and "Bautechnik digital" from the provider Reguvis. You can search, download, print and save full texts.
