Zotero - unlimited storage

By popular demand, we have now purchased a licence for unlimited institutional Zotero storage. This means that there is no longer a limit to file synchronisation via Zotero. Students and staff at our university can now synchronise and edit their own file attachments, as well as attachments in group libraries, from multiple computers without having to purchase storage space.

To use the unlimited storage, you have to register with Zotero using your BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg email address. Synchronisation with the application on your own computer takes place once you have entered your login details in the settings and selected the desired synchronisation (see image).

For group libraries it is sufficient that the owner of the group belongs to BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, as only this account will be charged with the storage space. This allows for inter-regional projects.

Not familiar with Zotero? It is a literature management programme with many features. For example, you can import, sort and tag literature data, annotate in attached PDFs, create notes, and insert data into word processing programs in the desired citation style and automatically create a bibliography from it.
