About me

I am a junior researcher at the Chair of IT Security. I received my Master degree in Computer Systems and Networks from Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies, Ukraine. Currently, I am also pursuing my PhD at the Nova University Lisbon (UNINOVA), Portugal. I am also a member Centre of Technology and Systems (CTS) at the UNINOVA research institute. I participated in several big research projects in the framework of Horizon 2020, such as Zero-Defects Manufacturing Platform (ZDMP) and Virtual Factory Operating System (vf-OS).

Research Interests

My research interests include anomaly detection in encrypted network traffic, analysis of process data derived from Cyber-Physical Systems, Machine Learning applied to network traffic analysis, Internet-of-Things devices fingerprinting, and security and privacy issues in 5G / 6G networks.

Projects

Currently, I am involved in the medCS.5 project that specifically addresses the issue of enabling secure communication in 5G networks of medical facilities using innovative methods and novel Machine Learning (ML) approaches. My focus is on the development of ML-enhanced methods for anomalies detection in encrypted network traffic.
