Professional Perspectives
After successfully completing a Master degree, graduates acquire in-depth expertise and competencies to undertake urban design and development tasks, mindful of the local architectural culture and urban development. The programme encompasses both an academic and a design-oriented urban design education, preparing students for an international career path in responsible positions in an interdisciplinary and project-oriented manner. Besides private planning firms, opportunities abound in public administrations, NGOs, and international institutions. Given the English-language instruction, graduates have access to a global job market.
For non-consecutive degree programmes completed at BTU, students are responsible for clarifying the possibility of professional recognition in consultation with the corresponding state chamber. For more information please refer to Professional Title & Status.
