Plastics & Thermoplastic 3D printing
Our additive manufacturing setup is used for rapid prototyping and the fabrication of complex engineering geometries for research and teaching purposes. It enables the quick production of test specimens, heat exchanger prototypes, lattice structures, and conceptual design models for experimental validation and functional assessment. The system supports efficient iteration during product development and contributes to the investigation of lightweight structures. This setup has been used to conduct extensive theoretical analysis, mainly in conjecture with developing Gibson-Ashby correlations for novel geometric configurations.
