Our sand testing apparatus is designed to investigate sand clogging and sand deposition behavior in 3D-printed heat exchanger structures with integrated lattice geometries. It enables the evaluation of how particle accumulation affects flow passages, pressure drop, and overall thermal performance under controlled operating conditions. The setup supports the optimization of lattice-based heat exchanger designs for improved reliability and fouling resistance in demanding thermal management applications.
