Contents
Introduction to the basics of joining technology. Classification and contribution to the industrial application of joining processes in manufacturing and assembly. In detail processes for welding (fusion welding, pressure welding, welding equipment and machines, metallurgy and material behaviour), brazing, gluing and joining by forming are presented. Furthermore, the areas and limits of application are explained.
