Kathrin holds a diploma in natural sciences and biotechnology (2013) and worked for several years as a research assistant at the Institute of Molecular Medicine & Experimental Immunology at the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University Bonn. After further qualification as an online editor, she focused on science communication and has several years of experience in research PR, transfer communication and communication management. She has been at BTU since 2020 and is very well networked through her activities in the BTU press office, Innovation Hub 13 and the Department of Structural Transformation. Kathrin is responsible for science communication at the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ) since January 2025. She is part of the ‘Innovation, Management and Communication’ team at the Energy Innovation Centre (EIZ).
